About The Maverick's

Chris Hilliard, BS, NR-P

Chris Hilliard is a Paramedic in Southern Delaware. He graduated from Lewisburg High School in 2009 and attended Pennsylvania College of Technology, initially going into the Nursing Program. After determining he would be happier as a Paramedic, Chris switched majors and entered into the Paramedic Program at PCT. He graduated in the class of 2013 and began working in the local area.

Chris worked for local hospital systems as well as fire departments with ALS services. He would later move to Southern Delaware and begin working for one of the best ALS services in the country.

Outside of work, Chris is a dedicated family man. He loves spending time with his wife and son, as well as his trusty SAR K-9, Rosie. Chris has volunteered for numerous fire departments in the past and enjoyed the challenge of being a pump operator.

Outside of medicine, Chris has experience with SAR (Search and Rescue), Haz-Mat, Firefighting, and vehicle rescue. He is also quite passionate about safety within the fire service.

Tyler Dickson, FF / EMT-P

Tyler is a dedicated servant to the areas he has served. Tyler was born and bread in the Los Angeles area. He worked for a fire department in the LA area and had the desire to go to paramedic school in hopes of one day becoming an engineer or Captain of a station (both positions require being a paramedic). He would eventually find his way to the snowy valley of Williamsport and the greater Susquehanna Valley.

Tyler moved to PA with just one bag and found a place to live with Loyalsock Volunteer Fire Department. There he became a live in and would work on the ambulance and respond on fire calls when not in class. There, Chris and Tyler became friends and worked together to get through paramedic school.

Tyler would soon become a strong contender in the class and he would graduate with one of the highest field averages in the class.

Following school, Tyler stayed and worked in the Williamsport area before moving back to LA to be close to family. Tyler worked for a few other fire departments and EMS agencies in LA while his wife, Nadja worked for local ER's as a nurse. Tyler, Nadja and their bulldog, Winston, are getting ready to move back to the Williamsport area.
